                    on distributing posters, brochures, and GPS station data
                    sheets  to people living on the Mentawai
                      and Batu islands. These materials explain the regional
                      tectonic processes and the purpose of GPS stations. (See Sumatra

              Nepal
              
  TO geodesy specialist John Galetzka has given many presentations in Nepal about earthquake hazards and safety. Watch his latest presentation (March 29, 2012):

In  collaboration with colleagues from the Nepal Department of Mines and Geology, the TO produced  a brochure that explains the seismological network in  Nepal, which is used throughout the country as a reference guide by government departments and the general public.

                Mexico
                  In a program developed by Professor Xyoli Pérez Campos, students at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) make presentations to high schools.
